2008

The inaugural Copper Cove Marina Festival was an exciting new boating and seafood festival which unfolded in the marina on Saturday, 25 October 2008.

Featuring an extensive showcase of the boating, seafood and wine industries, incorporating many local attractions and suppliers, the Festival attracted thousands of visitors, including locals and visitors from neighbouring regional areas and metropolitan Adelaide.

Our vision was to develop the Copper Cove Marina Festival into a not-to-be-missed event for boating enthusiasts and lovers of the marina, seafood and wine lifestyle alike. The events was such a great success first time off that many people mentioned that a two-day event could be even bigger and better, offering more activities.

2009

Following the success of the 2008 inaugural event, the 2009 Festival will ran over two days – Saturday and Sunday – with a fresh seafood market to be held at the Marina on the Sunday morning.

Serious buyers were able to see their favourite boats in action, with well-known dealers displaying boats. There was also entertainment for those with other interests including live music and children’s entertainment.

“It was certainly an excellent opportunity for people to come down and have a look at everything Wallaroo and the Copper Cove Marina has to offer. A number of local restaurants and well-known SA wineries served some of their best produce and we’ve already had a lot of interest from groups who are keen to be a part of next year’s event,” Michael Nance said.

2010

The Copper Cove Marina festival in November 2010 was held on Saturday the 13th at 10.00am and continuing on Sunday 14th between 10.00am to 3.00pm, the festival featured an extensive array of exhibitions, and showcased boating and the best in local, fresh seafood and produce and wines from the Clare Valley.

Boating fans were able to see the latest release boats in action on the water and there was a whole range on display in the on land exhibits.

A range of Festival activities took place in the Coopers Ale House – Wallaroo Marina Hotel. Entertainment around the Marina also included live music, face painting for the kids and helicopter rides.

2012

The Copper Cove Marina Festival 2012, our fourth year running. Held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of October, featuring interactive boating activities, fresh seafood and wine, live music and family entertainment.

Special guests this year were Michael Angelakis and Michael Keelan from out of the blue, cooking up a storm!

Too kick it off there was Friday night entertainment such as a live performance by Ross Wilson taken place at the Coopers Ale House as well as a sunset cruise. For our boating fans, model boat sailing demonstrations were held from the Windjammer Lane Pontoons. And for the kids, there was a great variety of family entertainment all weekend.

Great festival enjoyed by all!
