Fisherman’s Bay

Fisherman’s Bay has two swimming beaches which are located to the west side of the boat ramp and also directly in front of the children’s playground. Very safe for children when the tide is out.

Tickera’s coastline appears to be thick with seaweed; however, a little further north the beaches are great for swimming.

Moonta Bay

The Moonta Bay beach is located directly in front of the Moonta Bay Caravan Park, and is a lovely sandy beach suitable for all ages. When the tide goes out there is plenty of beach to play on and shallow rock pools to explore.

Port Hughes South Beach, one of the prettiest beaches on the northern Yorke Peninsula. Is a lovely white, sandy beach from which it is great to swim and fish. Pristine beaches, clear blue green water and a fantastic jetty.

Port Broughton

Has a very safe inlet at the foreshore for swimmers, depending on the tide. This is best during the early morning. For people wanting to have a descent swim, head to the pontoon at the T-section of the jetty.

Wallaroo has a number of beaches including

These beaches are great for swimming. North Beach is still one of a few beaches you can drive on.
